Though these workers are obviously fearless, safety first. It would not detract from their ability to perform their job if they used even minimal safety precautions.

C’mon, give ‘em a break, most of ‘em are wearing hardhats, and that guy in the last pic seems to have a safety line.

Rich@ Well – It seems like the workers are from Hispanic decent, so I’m assuming these pictures where taken in one of the developing nations of the south americas where safety ISN’T affordable. Most developing Hispanic nations are a very awkward time in their existence – They no longer can be called “3rd” world, because they have clean water, lighting, education, health care, etc. But they are lacking in other areas. In this shows one, safety. Its pretty much a bad case of “Keeping up with the Jones” – They want to have nice big buildings like the rest of the world, and they’ll build them anyway they can – especially at the expense of their “workers”. Don’t gotta pay a man his weekly wages if his dead.

As someone who’s spent a lot of time on scaffolding and ladders, I can tell you that you would be suprised how quickly you get used to working high up.
That being said, these dudes are considerably higher than your average house and obviously have massive brass balls!
Crazy
